I
wanted to build a permanent house for Anne and me. It wasn’t needed
but I just like building stuff. I told Beat, the Swiss builder who is
an artist with logs. what I wanted. He told me no. I had enough rectangular
houses and what I needed was a square one. A square house? Anne wanted
an observation tower on a hill. I asked Beat to combine them. He said
it was a stupid idea for lots of sound construction reasons. Attached
is a picture of stupid. Beat now has a tower attached to his house.
Completed in late 2006.
