This
is the heart of the operation. The source of all meals, gatherings,
entertainment, communication center and Chinese laundry. Politics, religion,
economics, markets and trading strategies, construction, interior design,
culinary arts, fishing, the weather and general gossip are all favorite
topics. The original house was knocked down to the foundation and rebuilt
in 2004/2005 when a small remodeling project got out of hand. It was
rebuilt with timbers from a 1904 Kamloops, British Columbia grain elevator.
